Maine is a never-ending source of inspiration for Asa Pingree, the multicolored lobster traps ubiquitous on the island where he grew up informed his visual sensitivity.
Wanting to pay homage to the hardworking coastal Maine fishing community, Asa decided to work with local manufacturers to design a line of objects and furniture.
The Lobster Trap Collection brings the striking colorful mesh to homes, commercial venues and events across the country whether as outdoor furniture or part of larger art installations.
